The Perfect Steak Sandwich Recipe

From the insane Sun Dried Tomato Horseradish Spread to the fantastic steak preparation Dan brought to this table, this recipe really stood out as one of my favorite sandwich preparations of all time!

Perfect Steak Sandwich

Ingredients:
One small onion
Honey or sugar
Sprig of thyme
Sundried tomatoes
Horseradish
Mayo
Skirt steak

Slice your onion place in a greased pan over medium heat for 1-2 minutes. Turn heat down to medium low and allow them to cook through for 7-8 minutes.

Add a touch of honey or sugar for extra caramelization. Set aside.

Optional step: Add a sprig of thyme to your onions for added flavor.

Boil sundried tomatoes to soften.

Grate a chunk of horseradish into your food processor.

Add softened tomatoes to food processor and blend.

Remove from food processor and in a bowl fold 3 tbsp of mayo into your tomato mixture. Set aside.

Season your skirt steak with salt and pepper to taste. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes.

Heat some oil in a pan and toss in your steak. Continue turning your steak every 15 seconds until it is cooked to your liking.

Remove and let sit for 10-15 minutes.

Slice open your choice of bread and toast cut side down on your pan.

Spread your tomato spread on your bread.

Reccommended: Add peashoots over your spread. Delicious!

Lay on your steak over your spread and pile on your caramelized onions. ENJOY!
